The Downtown Showdown was the first Deadlock tournament with a cash prize, organized for North American players.
Tournament Structure
- Elimination Format: Single Elimination Bracket
- Match Rules:
- All rounds are Best of 1 (Bo1).
- The Grand Finals and Third Place Match adopt a Best of 3 (Bo3) format.
- Each team can banish a character before the match
